Halving calendar and calculation method
Bitcoin halves its block subsidy every 210,000 blocks. The next date uses the current block height and the average interval over the last 2,016 blocks (— minutes). Later halvings add 210,000 blocks at the protocol target of 10 minutes each, about 1,458 days per cycle. They are estimates, not fixed appointments.
The calendar refreshes when this page opens and every five minutes while visible. After a halving block is mined, its observed timestamp replaces the estimate and the next cycle is selected automatically. Sources: mempool.space, with Blockstream as fallback. If both are unavailable, the last verified data is labelled as delayed.
BUY / SELL dates use ±523 days. All dates are UTC.

Historical simulator
Choose a starting date and amount, adjust the cycle offset, then compare the strategy against simply holding Bitcoin.
The offset updates the dashboard, calendar and simulation together.
Results use the latest available daily price, not a future price forecast.
USDT input is valued at 1 USDT = 1 USD. This USD history does not model the USDT exchange rate.

Simulation assumptions
The initial amount is invested in BTC on the chosen buy date. Each later SELL converts all BTC to cash; each BUY reinvests all available cash. Values use Blockchain.com daily average USD market prices, with no fees, tax, slippage or cash yield. A missing daily observation uses the first available price within three days; larger gaps at a signal stop the calculation.
This is a historical reconstruction using today’s halving calendar, not a point-in-time backtest. Future halving dates and their BUY / SELL signals can move. Dates after the last available price are shown as model signals only, without projected returns.
Past performance does not predict future results. Dates after the latest confirmed halving are estimates and may change.
